  • Joe McCarthy

    Managing Director

    C.Eng, BSc(Hons) Eng, Dip Eng, MIEI, MCIBSE

    Joe is a Chartered Engineer and joined the Temec Group in 2000. He was appointed a director of the company in 2007, and Managing Director in 2016. Joe completed his degree in Building Services Engineering in 1994 and worked in McArdle MacSweeney Associates Consulting Engineers for a number of years. He is responsible for the day to day activities of the company and developing client relationships.

  • David Tumbleton

    Financial Director

    David was a founding member of the company in 1993 and has over 35years experience working in the Irish market. David has overall responsibility for the financial management of the company, and ensures that all control procedures are adhered to.
    A key area to our business operation is our commitment to the use of high quality equipment sourced through a reliable and experienced supply chain. David has been instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with this supply chain to ensure the clients benefit from a quality installation and receives excellent post contract assistance.

  • Derek Emerson

    Contracts Director

    Derek was a founding member of the company in 1993 and has over 30years of contract management experience in a wide range of projects. Derek is a qualified craftsman and has formal Health and Safety qualifications. He has also responsible for implementing and continual improvement of the Temec Quality procedures.

    Derek has been responsible for the successful delivery of many projects including the Westin Hotel, Mountjoy Womens Prison and RCSI Beaumont Hospital.

  • Michael Kelly

    Contracts Director

    Michael joined the Temec Group in 1994 and was appointed a director of the company in 2007. He has over 30years of contract management experience in a wide range of projects. Michael is a qualified craftsman and has formal Health and Safety qualifications and is the Temec Safety officer. He has also responsible for the Temec apprentice programme and provides assistance and mentoring to the apprentices.

    Michael has been responsible for the successful delivery of many projects including the Blocks E and H Central Park, TCD Bioscience Building, EBS Burlington Road, Hatch Street/ Adelaide Road offices, the ESAT building along with many others.

  • Stephen O’Brien

    Co-Ordination Manager

    BSc(Hons) Eng, Dip Eng

    Stephen joined Temec in 2008 following completion of his Building Services Degree. He has been involved in the co-ordination and technical aspects of a number of large complex projects including the new Bioscience Building for TCD, Block H Central park and Accenture Hanover quay. He has a degree in building services engineering along with formal qualifications in Health and Safety Management.
